The Erasmus+ Virtual Wood University Project 2020-2023 Dissemination Conference & Workshop
Salzburg University of Applied Sciences Campus Kuchl May 22nd, 2023
The Erasmus+ Virtual Wood University Project has provided transnational collaborative digital tertiary education in wood to over 800 students over the last three years.
We have gained a lot of experience that we want to share and discuss, how tertiary digital education in wood could look like in the future and in a possible follow-up project.
In the future, new and different training formats will be necessary in order to find the best brains for our promising industry in the war for talents. The Virtual Wood University would like to develop them in an extended cooperation with leading universities in the wood industry sector and jointly implement them in future attractive training offers.
The digital conference in May 2023 is intended to serve the broad exchange of experiences to date and the discussion of future collaborative higher education.
The response of our initial invitation inspired us to the idea of a Digital Conference to stay in the spirit of our Virtual Idea and to offer our experiences also to all interested persons, who cannot travel and participate in Kuchl/Austria.
